Women Gathering at SQU
In line with empowering the role of women in society, the leading knowledge sharing community website, KnowledgeOman.com, has recently held the first women KO gathering on February 11, 2010 hosted in the Sultan Qaboos University. The gathering brought together women from different nationalities and profession across the Sultanate under one roof. KnowledgeOman.com has formed up to 30 female members from various backgrounds, ranging from students to women professionals in both the private and public sector to suppport His Majesty Sultan Qaboos vision of building a knowledge society hub in the Sultanate. Team members socialized in person, spoke about their role in KnowledgeOman.com, exchanged experiences, and further strengthened the community bond and team work.
